Integrative Psychiatry Through Secure California TelehealthMental health care that starts
with the whole person.
At Bedrock Integrative Psychiatry, Juli Nagashima, PMHNP-BC, RNC-OB, C-EFM looks beyond symptoms and diagnoses to understand the full picture of your health. Together, we aim to understand the psychiatric, medical, biological, psychological, nutritional, lifestyle, and social factors that may be influencing how you feel.
This whole-person approach creates space for thoughtful, individualized psychiatric care built around your needs and goals. We build a stronger foundation for lasting health, greater understanding, and meaningful change.
You deserve the time and space to understand what may be contributing to your symptoms.
Anxiety, depression, difficulty concentrating, mood changes, poor sleep, exhaustion, trauma, and major life transitions can affect every part of your life. These experiences may also be connected to factors that are easy to overlook when care focuses only on a diagnosis.
Bedrock Integrative Psychiatry offers a collaborative, whole-person approach to psychiatric care. Your history, daily life, physical health, emotional well-being, and personal goals are considered together so your care can be shaped around you.
The Bedrock ApproachWhat is integrative psychiatry?
Integrative psychiatry is an approach to mental health care that considers the connection between the brain, body, lifestyle, environment, and emotional well-being.
At Bedrock Integrative Psychiatry, care begins with a deeper understanding of your foundation. Depending on your individual needs, this may include looking at:
Medical and psychiatric history
Sleep quality and daily energy
Nutrition and eating patterns
Hormonal and metabolic health
Stress and lifestyle demands
Movement and physical activity
Trauma and significant life experiences
Relationships and social environment
Current medications and previous treatment
Personal values, goals, and faith when desired
Medication can be an important part of psychiatric care, but it is not the only part of the conversation.
Before determining what treatment may be appropriate, Juli works to understand the factors that could be influencing your symptoms. When medication is clinically appropriate, it is used thoughtfully as one part of an individualized plan.
The goal is to help you understand your mental health, strengthen your foundation, restore function, and become increasingly confident in caring for yourself.
““If the day comes when you no longer need me,
I consider that a success.””
Physiology first. Medication when clinically appropriate.

Meet Your ProviderJuli Nagashima, PMHNP-BC, RNC-OB, C-EFM
Juli’s approach to psychiatric care is shaped by more than two decades as a registered nurse caring for mothers and families in high-acuity perinatal settings.
She is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, double certified in inpatient obstetric nursing and electronic fetal monitoring. She is currently fellowship training in integrative psychiatry and has a particular passion for perinatal and women’s mental health.
